The old fridge in the laundry in Biggera Waters

The story
I found Clear Out by searching on my phone while standing in the middle of the mess in Biggera Waters. We replaced our washing machine, dryer and dishwasher in one go after a kitchen update. The retailer wouldn't take the old ones.
It was a big side-by-side with a plumbed-in ice maker, and the laundry door was only just wide enough.
Biggera Waters is a waterfront pocket of canal homes, retirement villages and low-rise units, and getting things out isn't always simple. Village driveways are tight, so we hand-carry to the truck where required.
They offered a time the next morning. I asked if they needed me to move anything to the kerb first, and they said no, they'd take it from where it was.
They arrived a few minutes early, introduced themselves and did a quick walk-around. The price they gave me was a bit under what I'd budgeted, which was a pleasant surprise.
They took the dryer off the wall bracket without cracking the tiles, which I'd been worried about. All three went to a metals recycler.
The space is unrecognisable. I keep walking past it just to look. I'd use them again without thinking about it, and I've already passed the number on to my sister.
If I'm honest, the hardest part was deciding to do it. Once that was done, it was easy.
